Have you ever had a character or creature come to you in a dream?
Sounds rather mystical and fantasy but this little guy was in my dream last night.

A red [blue] jay, in the dream he was mine. A random weird bird that suddenly became mine. Flew towards me out of nowhere and clung to my shirt, burying its little face under my chin, rubbing its face like an affectionate cat.
Weird.

But I couldn't get him out of my head all day. So he is now mine.
I have a hard time keeping more fantasy-based characters, but something like this feels a lot closer to my soul. Like my elk with candles on his antlers. Dreamcatcher a little..but she's fading fast.

This was a very quick sketch, entire thing took maybe 30 minutes? I love sketches like this. Quick sketch with a light blue pencil, inked with India Ink, then a colour wash with watercolours. <3

He needs a name. In the dream it was something that started with a K, within the 6-9 letter range, had a Z in the middle there somewhere, and perhaps an N.
