Hmm. Started as a focus on eyes, ended as a focus on the fur. Makes me a bit sad that I went and made it all mystical and transparent, it definitely loses something. But I left the edges all gross and blank so I couldn't. But here's a shot of the solid fur if anyone wanted to check it out. [link]

Ugh, I haven't had any energy to do anything lately. I've been so sick for a week now and its really starting to take its toll. And on top of that, my ears are really beginning to ache, despite the meds I got put on yesterday to prevent an infection. My head, ears in particular, are so plugged up that at times I can hardly hear. Its starting to get really bad and the radio is sounding a little wonky.

Hrrm. Really pleased with this. But I had to force myself to finish it. Lately I feel absolutely no desire to paint digitally. My brain screams "WATERCOLOURS" instead of digital. No idea why I want to use watercolours so much lately. Maybe later when I have enough energy. My joints still feel like jello.

Aaaaah, eyes. So good. xD Wonderful bodyparts. To both look at and draw. Or look at drawings of. I guess this'd be an example of the eyecolour you'd like to have? _{without the fur of course, that would be a bit too freaky}

I love it how you made iris so realistic. And the moon that's mirrored into the eye is really cool too. I stared at it for pretty some time. It's almost hypnotizing. Great job!

Eyes are wonderful. You can learn so much about a person just by watching their eyes.
I love drawing and painting them because you can do so much with them. Whether it be emotion, colour or lighting, the possibilities are endless.

My, wouldn't that make for a strange looking human eye. Would be awesome!
Though if I had the choice to make my eye colour anything, it wouldn't be that. For some reason I'm particularly fond of a solid lavender with darker purple accents. Nothing multicoloured, and I'm not sure why I even feel so strongly towards that one particular colour.
I've never actually painted them but I guess I should. I'll put that on my huge to-do list.

Amazing stuff! Love all the detail and individual furs you can see, and even the reflection in the eye, thats always hard to pull off but you did a really good job here! In a way it adds a whole lotta depth to the picture :] Celestial themes are always cool, and I agree as one person said, it'd make a kickass poster! >:3

This is really beautiful, I love it. The dusty look to it is my favourite part, it is so wonderful and perfect. I really like all the details in the eye and how well you did that reflection, it definitely feels quite magical. I also adore the fur of course, extremely well done, strand for strand. I like the transparency due to the colour it brings which is extremely pretty. The full fur does look very nice as well though. This would make such a nice poster for a wall I think.

Wow, that ear infection sounds completely hideous. Are you any better now? I really hope so.

Mm. I've had a rough recovery. It was this past Monday that I finally felt well enough to consider "good". I go to sleep on Monday night, then wake up on Tuesday and lo and behold, I feel like shit! Crazy sore throat, extremely stuffed head (so bad that everything sounded really, really quiet), and my muscles and joints seized up so much that I literally felt like I got hit by a bus.
But. Now that it is Friday I'm finally starting to feel better. I'm hoping that the nasty nasal spray that my lame-ass doctor gave me are actually going to continue to clear my head.

The other looks much more realistic, but yet, this one has a beautiful sense of mystery and magic to it.

I love how shiny that eye is...and...is that the moon and clouds you can see within it? Beautiful! <3
