Edit: Changed the overlay, decided it was taking too much away from my art.

Still not really sure how to finish this thing off, need to you know, not leave a blank background.

But here it is for now.

I have a HUGE fascination with the human body as a machine, a finely tuned organic machine. I'm a TA at university for a Human Anatomy and Physiology courses so I've studied and taught the subject, so I'm always filled with inspiration. Expect more.

Couple hours, all black ballpoint pen and a bit of white ink, PS overlay.

This is lovely. As far as background goes...you could leave it really simple...maybe some faint clockwork designs to further your idea of machination?

i like it a lot. the human body is a machine, just that most people don't think of it as that way. have to maintain the body to stay in health...
