My half of the trade I had going with ~Windspeaker-wolf. In return she's making me a tattoo design of Dreamcatcher.

She requested her vampire wolf character Rhyen. She hinted on a cityscene or something like it and this is what I came up with. I've been wanting to do something with skyscrapers and lights and such.

Hope I got the character right and that you like it.

This is neat. I really like the blue colors, the character, and the moon.

I love the sky.

It's all beautiful.

Awesome job with the night sky and the animal. I can't crit the animal one bit, it's incredibly difficult. I give big credit on the head, you aligned the neck to the chin very well (you definitely showed some volume) and the ears are neatly tucked behind the head. Well done!

I'm guessing the buildings weren't that big on your mind, but I might as well point them out. Even if the background isn't that important, it can still increase or decrease how you want to present the main piece (in this case, the creature). The edges are too choppy and you can't even tell what type of building that is (what it's made of).

The moon's shine is a little bright (extended wise) and star-like (spikes out instead of oval shine), but that's fine. It doesn't make too big of a difference in the picture. The stars are great, but they look a little flat. I can tell that you used noise on the black surface (which is an awesome trick), but you could actually give it more volume if you add in some color. The sky, even at night, has a little bit of color and isn't fully black. Here, found a tutorial you could try out.

Has the world ended yet?

That was a very difficult pose to pull off. I had many sketches trying to master it. Still bothers me some but it could be much worse.

For the moon, I originally had it with a much smaller shine, more like that of the real moon, but I found that it was a bit too normal for this piece. I wanted it to seem a bit more fantasy.

Hah..the stars. Yep, noise on black.
I'll give that tutorial a shot sometime.

Thanks for the crits.
