Pearl eyes actually.
But Shinedown is guud. :B

Commission for :icontatchit: of her nifty character, Zio.
I realized that iridescent fur is hard to paint, and pearlized eyes are IMPOSSIBLE to paint.
There's silvery iridescent paint in some spots, like the eyes, feathers and some splatters in the blue background. I love that stuff, I always have to hold myself back from putting it everywhere.

Hope you like it! :meow:

o.o

Those eyes are really well done, thank you so much for this, and so quick! (I wish I was this quick lol) And the really cool abstract like background sets a good wild mood to those eyes.

Glad you like it, those eyes were the hardest part of the entire painting. <3

I love the wonderful and beautiful coloring, along with the detail.
Also those eyes are adorable.
The background is beautiful too, what do you use to get such wonderful textures?

Thanks <3<3

My backgrounds are usually made quite messily. I block out the subject (which isn't painted yet) with tape, then literally start blobbing paint on and hectically blending/smushing with various brushes. Then. I make my mom's table all messy. Dilute some paint, take a brush with longer bristles, dip it in the watery paint and then splatter it. :)
